Banyan Stories may use AI-assisted drafting and synthetic narration, but software does not make publication decisions.

Human responsibility

A human reviews claims, sources, cultural context, age guidance, safety notes, and the finished listening experience. Every use of AI-assisted drafting or narration is subject to human review. Only a human can approve an episode for family review or public release.

Synthetic narration

Episodes are currently read by a synthetic stock narrator voice from our voice provider, not a real person. Future episodes may use synthetic narration in the owner's cloned voice, and episode pages will say which voice was used. Banyan Stories does not clone a child's voice, and raw voice samples are not published with the website. A voice service is called only as part of a separately authorized production step, never by a scheduled publishing job or by visiting this site.

What the labels mean

Evidence labels describe the support for the words, not who or what read them aloud. “Fictional scene” marks creative material; the other labels describe the current evidence review.
